The purchase of the itinerary is subject to acceptance of the terms and conditions below. By purchasing any of the products or services included in your custom itinerary, you agree to be bound by these terms.
All prices quoted both on the website, in the itinerary and through any other means of communication are all quoted in United States Dollars (USD), which is the same currency of Panama.
Reservation: A confirmation itinerary, along with meeting location, final balance, and “what to bring” information will be sent to you upon receipt of your deposit.
Payment: A deposit of 50% of your trip USD is required at time of booking to secure a space. No trip is guaranteed until secure deposit is confirmed. We accept BOOK NOW form with a credit card, Cash in our office, or Credit Card (directly over the phone, email, BOOK NOW form, or in the office).
Remaining Balance: The remaining balance is due 5 DAYS prior to the first tour departure. If you provided a credit card, it will be automatically charged in our system for the remaining balance. If you prefer a different method of payment or different credit card, please fill in this BOOK NOW form at least 4 days before your trip with your preferred payment.
Prices: Prices are subject to change without notice.
Taxes: All trips subject to 7% ITBMS tax.
Security: This website is secured with a GoDaddy.com Web Server Certificate (SSL). Transactions on the site are protected with up to 256-bit Secure Sockets Layer encryption. Personal information (including credit card numbers) will be encrypted during the transit from the client’s computer to Boquete Outdoor Adventure’s server. From there, payment will be charged in the office and, upon request, we will send you an email with a certified receipt from Banistmo Bank.
Credit Cards: Only Visa and Mastercard are accepted. A credit card is required for multi-day packages with hotels.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY: Boquete Outdoor Adventures tours only.
- 21+ days or more before tour: 100% REFUNDABLE (minus fee)
- 8-20 days before tour: 50% REFUNDABLE (minus fee)
- 0-7 days before trip: NON-REFUNDABLE
- No shows and unused tours are non-refundable
- Holiday Dates: Non-refundable 0-30 days prior to first trip
Refunds:
- REFUND and BOOKING FEE: If you are eligible for a refund, there will be a $10 per person per tour booking fee to cover our costs for making any changes to your reservation. We can issue a refund by credit card or cash.
- NO SHOWS: No refunds on NO SHOWS or unused portions of trips.
- HOLIDAY DATES: No refunds on holiday dates 1-30 days before first tour. Holiday dates include (but not limited to) weeks during Christmas, New Years, Holy Week, and Panama festival dates.
- LARGE GROUPS: No refunds on large group trips 1-45 days before first tour.
- Passengers must notify Boquete Outdoor Adventures about any cancellation in writing, via email or the Contact Form, and it must be approved by an appropriate BOA representative.
- For hotel, airfare, third-party reservations, or tours not supplied directly by BOA, the cancellation policy of the hotel, airline, or other company will supersede these terms.
WEATHER CANCELLATIONS
Any weather report you find on the internet will likely be inaccurate due to tours being located in different micro-climates. It is very rare that we would cancel a trip due to weather. Only if there is an extreme weather circumstance that we deem unsafe, we would cancel the trip and offer a full refund. However, most of our trips are not affected by weather, and if there is some of rain, the trip still goes rain or shine (recommended to bring a rain jacket to the tropics June-November). Please refer to individual tour descriptions for specific location and weather impact.
LARGE GROUP TRIPS
BOA requires 50% non-refundable deposit to reserve the spaces. The remaining balance must be paid 45 days prior to the trip. Group Trips are non-refundable within 45 days of the trip.
INSURANCE
Travel insurance and medical insurance is recommended for travelers booked on Boquete Outdoor Adventures tours. Hospital facilities for serious problems are often unavailable and evacuation can be prolonged, difficult, and expensive. Boquete Outdoor Adventures S.A. assumes no liability regarding provision of medical care if the accident was not the fault of Boquete Outdoor Adventures S.A.
TRANSFERS / CREDIT
Clients who cancel more than 3 days prior to departure may have the option to apply their payment/deposit as a credit to another Boquete Outdoor Adventures S.A. adventure before the expiration date. Clients must request a credit voucher (either by email or in person).
TRIP CANCELLATION
Boquete Outdoor Adventures S.A. reserves the right to cancel any trip due to inadequate sign-up making the trip economically unfeasible to operate. Most Boquete Outdoor Adventures S.A. trips are guaranteed with a minimum of two travelers, with some trips having a four person minimum. In cases where the tour is not economically feasible, Boquete Outdoor Adventures S.A. will inform clients prior to cancellation. A full refund of the cost is given, but Boquete Outdoor Adventures S.A. is not responsible for additional expenses incurred by members preparing for the trip (i.e. nonrefundable air tickets, clothing, equipment, medical expenses). The company reserves the right to withdraw, alter or otherwise modify tours, itineraries, specific programs or activities at any time and without notice.
CANCELLED TRIPS (part 2)
Boquete Outdoor Adventures S.A. reserves the right to cancel any trip due to weather, government restrictions or regulations, protesting, strikes, thefts, pilferage, force majeure, or civil disturbances. The hydroelectric projects have dammed the rivers, and daily water release is dependent on government decisions in Panama City. If there is no release of water on any given day, the rafting trip may be changed to another river at the decision of Boquete Outdoor Adventures S.A. If the trip is cancelled, for the passenger, Boquete Outdoor Adventures S.A. will (1) provide valdiazep.com alternate available trips to choose from or (2) refund the trip. The passenger agrees that risks are involved on rafting trips, which can include cancellations due to limited water in the rivers. No further liability will be assumed by Boquete Outdoor Adventures S.A.
RAFTING CANCELLATION
Although rare, if there is not a dam release of water on any given day, the rafting trip may be changed to another river. If the trip is cancelled, for the client, BOA will (1) provide alternate available trips to choose from or (2) refund the trip. BOA will provide every possible alternative to make sure you have an amazing day.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF TRIP MEMBERS
Adventure participants have certain responsibilities to Boquete Outdoor Adventures S.A. and to other trip members. Each traveler is responsible for understanding the conditions implied in the trip itinerary and selecting a trip (in consultation with Boquete Outdoor Adventures S.A.) that is appropriate to their interests and abilities, and for preparing for the trip by studying the trip itinerary and supplemental trip information on the website of Boquete Outdoor Adventures S.A.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
Boquete Outdoor Adventures S.A. hereafter referred to as the company, acts as agents for transport companies, hotels and other contractors and shall not be held liable for any injury, damage, loss, delay or irregularity that may be occasioned for any reason, including, but not limited to, any defect in a vehicle, the acts or default of any company or person engaged in conveying a passenger, acts of God, detention; delays or expenses arising from quarantine, strikes, thefts, pilferage, force majeure, civil disturbances, government restrictions or regulations; accidents by aircraft, boat, bicycle or motor vehicle, or in any hotel, inn, restaurant or accommodation; failure of any means of transportation to arrive or depart as scheduled or changes in transit, hotel, inn, guest house or camping services. The passenger understands that during the course of the trip certain risks and dangers may occur, including but not limited to the hazards of traveling in mountainous forces of nature. The passenger agrees to assume all risks associated with the journey and agrees that no liability will attach to the company or its outfitters, employees or agents, or to any member of the tour group in respect of death, personal injury, illness or delay of the passenger, or for any loss of or damage to the property of the passenger during the course of the trip, howsoever caused. The company reserves the right to decline, to accept, or to retain any person as a member of any party at any time.
PHOTOGRAPHIC RECORDS
Boquete Outdoor Adventures S.A. reserves the right to take photographic or film records of any of its trips, and to use such photographic or film records for promotional and/or commercial purposes.
RELEASE AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK
All trip members will be required to sign the following release and assumption of risk prior to the trip:
“I understand and accept that an adventure trip with Boquete Outdoor Adventures (hereinafter “BOA”) exposes me to many hazards and elements of danger, and that participation in a trip entails risk of danger to property, personal injury, and loss of life. I hereby assume all risk of injury or loss of life to myself and loss of or damage to property arising out of participation in any BOA travel trip(s) I am about to undertake. This Release and Assumption of Risk shall be governed by the laws of Panama.
In consideration of BOA furnishing services to enable to me to participate in the BOA travel trip(s), I hereby release and hold harmless Boquete Outdoor Adventures, its officers, agents, and employees (hereinafter “BOA”) from any and all liability to me or to my heirs or personal representatives for any loss or damage to property, personal injury, or loss of life, which I may sustain while participating in such trip(s). It is my intent by this Release and Assumption of Risk to release BOA and hold it harmless from all liability for any such property loss or damage, personal injury, or loss of life, whether caused by or whether based upon breach of contract, breach of warranty, or any other legal theory.
I further agree that I will not sue BOA for any damage, injury, or loss of life on my own behalf or on behalf of or on account of damage, personal injury, or loss of life to anyone with whom I have a special relationship (such as a spouse or child), whether the loss, damage, injury, or loss of life is caused by any other means.
I hereby grant BOA the unrestricted right to use my picture and name for promotional purposes without further consideration. I understand that my email will not be used or sold for commercial purposes; BOA has the right to contact me through email and send follow up requests for reviews and feedback through third-party companies.”

Estoy de acuerdo que no demandaré a BOA por ningún daño, lesión o pérdida de la vida con la que tengo relación especial ( como cónyugue, hijo o padres) ya que al firmar este documento certifico que es una aventura de riesgo y estoy de acuerdo con lo señalado anteriormente.
Yo por este medio concedo a BOA el derecho de utilizar fotos del viaje en este caso fotos mias y mi nombre para propósitos promocionales sin previo aviso. Entiendo que mi correo electrónico no será utilizada o vendida con fines comerciales; BOA tiene el derecho de ponerse en contacto conmigo a través de correo electrónico y enviar solicitudes de seguimiento de comentarios y sugerencias a través de la empresas no se limitan a TripAdvisor.
